If anyone can appreciate the joy in watching something special grow, Eric Putnam, a father of four wonderful children, most definitely can. Much like when nurturing growing children, he understands how important it is to provide a healthy environment, balanced nutrition, and proper care to ensure healthy tree growth. Many people value their trees and understand these same expectations for care.
Eric Putnam is a second-generation tree guy and was raised respecting, caring for, and treating trees. From beauty and shade, an emotional and personal/family memory, provider for wildlife, provider of oxygen and other positive environmental impacts, and so much more, trees serve so many purposes. Eric understands and appreciates all of these valuable purposes of a tree. Over the years, his passion and knowledge grew. Eric became an ISA Certified Arborist ® in 1993 and the 98th ISA Certified Arborist ® in Texas. His drive to achieve the highest level of Arboriculture certification and knowledge didn’t stop there. In 2015, Eric became the 18th ISA Board Certified Master Arborist ® in Texas. He continues to stay on top of the latest technologies of tree care.
Eric believes in sharing his knowledge with homeowners to empower them to complete DIY care of their trees and to prevent them or their loved ones from receiving improper care of their trees. Trees are living and just like our bodies, failure from abuse or neglect doesn’t usually present itself until years later. Eric’s goal is to help others grow and care for their trees so that future generations can enjoy a healthy and beautiful tree for years to come.
